We had a fantastic romantic getaway at a cozy cottage in the countryside. the host was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a lovely private garden where we enjoyed the stunning views. We were pleasantly surprised to find a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge, as well as a box of chocolates. the location was peaceful and tranquil, and we loved exploring the nearby attractions. it was a memorable and relaxing experience.
The only minor downside was the slightly uncomfortable sofa in the living room. it didn't hinder our overall enjoyment of the stay.

We had an amazing time at the cottage, reliving my wife's childhood memories and enjoying the tranquil location with beautiful views of fields. the cottage itself was decorated with character and had everything we needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the living space felt like a home away from home. the private garden was a real treasure, equipped with additional tables, chairs, and sunbeds. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. the location was also ideal, with a short 3-minute drive to Rye and a 10-minute drive to the stunning Camber Sands beach. it was a fantastic experience for us as adventure travelers.
We felt really comfortable during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

We had an incredible stay at this cozy cottage. The warm welcome from our host immediately made us feel at home. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed, from towels to toiletries and even surprise gifts. The views were breathtaking, especially at night when we could stargaze due to no light pollution. The convenient location, just a mile from Rye, allowed us to explore the charming town and enjoy delicious meals. Our furry friend was welcomed too, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to return to Holmdale Holiday Cottages. highly recommended!

We were greeted warmly with wine and chocolates, the cottage was clean and spacious. The host quickly replaced the faulty oven and even let us use their personal oven in the meantime. The location was great for visiting Camber Sands and Hasting. We plan on visiting again soon.
We felt well taken care of, nothing to complain about.

We were warmly welcomed by our host and the cottage was exceptionally clean. The thoughtful gifts of wine and chocolates were a lovely touch. When we encountered a problem with the oven, it was promptly replaced and we were even given personal access to another oven while waiting for the replacement. Raphaele and Michael made our stay truly wonderful and we hope to visit again in the future.
Can't think of anything 😊

I got great value for my money at Holmdale Holiday Cottages. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was peaceful and rural, yet just a short drive away from a lovely town. The staff, especially Raphaele, were incredibly helpful and welcoming.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering lighter bedding options. The bedding provided was too heavy for the climate during my stay, and a lighter duvet or an additional sheet would have made a difference.

Lucky the cat was an adorable addition to the experience. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The shower was a highlight, providing a truly luxurious experience. The peaceful location just outside of Rye was perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend Holmdale Cottages for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Exceptional hospitality, peaceful area in a beautiful location; a short walk to town. Warm cottage with an outside patio and garden overlooking fields. Plenty of guidance and brochures for walking in the local area. The hosts made us feel very welcome and even checked up on us before our arrival. The personal touches upon arrival were so nice. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. The location was great for visiting nearby attractions. Truly one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed.
There was nothing we didn't like about this accommodation.

Perfect hideaway for a lovely bit of peace and quiet. Immaculate with lovely attention to detail. Loved the enclosed garden and that we could take our dog for free. The host was friendly and thoughtful and I will definitely stay again.
Bedding too heavy for the climate. It was chilly and the bedding felt like it was for winter.
